This year is Fruitland Bible Camp’s 2nd Annual Music Dinner Theater — “A True Country Christmas” — a 2 ½ hour dinner and musical production in the heart of southwest Stevens County.
When you arrive, our parking attendants will direct you to parking and the reception area as you walk through thousands of sparkling lights.
As you enter the reception area, you will feel like you are walking into your grandmother’s living room with a table of holiday beverages — hot chocolate, coffee, tea, spiced cider, and cranberry punch. You’ll have an opportunity for family holiday photos or just sit and enjoy the fireplace and conversation with your family and friends. The Christmas tree will bring many memories as you watch a 1950s electric train circle the base amongst the many wrapped gifts.
Your host will invite you into the dining room, decorated with many lights. Wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen signals the start of a very special delicious multi-course dinner. Be sure to choose your main entrees ahead of time when you make your reservation. The choices are roasted prime rib, baked salmon or Mediterranean chicken. Each course will be prepared fresh, with ample portions, and of very high quality — and is not meant to be hurried, as it will be served gradually over the two-hour program.
Rebecca and the Cowboy will provide the entertainment. Having performed and traveled together for over 50 years throughout the United States, they have recorded over 20 albums and written 500 songs. Rebecca wrote her first song when she was just three years old; her mother wrote the words down for her.
Not only will they get you into the spirit of Christmas with their talents, but will engage the audience with a fun sing along with many of your Christmas favorites. Two songs written by Rebecca will touch your heart, “A Soldier’s Christmas” and “Hope is Born.”
Come on out for “A True Country Christmas” in the country to get your Christmas spirit tuned up. It is a Christmas event that will be fun for the entire family.
